Kayak Adventures and the MCC Maverick Aquatic Club are sponsoring a new Kayaking Program this Winter at the MCC Pool. Kayak Adventures is widely recognized in the upstate New York area as a leader in the Development of Whitewater Kayaking venues and has been rated the Top Kayak Instruction School in the New York, New England region. This Weekday afternoon class will have you Rolling and Paddling a Kayak with confidence in a very short time. Come as often as you wish. No experience needed, you will learn everything you need to know. Course description is outlined below.

Eskimo Roll & Paddling Clinics (2008/2009)
This is a new approach to developing the skills necessary to Roll and Paddle a Kayak with confidence. Solid Paddling Skills are vital components of the Eskimo Roll. The more you know about paddling a Kayak the easier the roll becomes. Only two of these three hour sessions will help you accelerate your learning curve by connecting your paddling skills with the Skills needed for the Eskimo Roll. The more Sessions you take the more confident you become. This is an ongoing program.
Test your new skills with an optional full day trip to a nearby river at a time convenient to you. All equipment is provided, The student must be able to swim. To register or receive additional information about this program call Kayak Adventures/MCC Maverick Aquatic Club at 585-704-2372.
Registration is required in advance. All classes are held at the MCC Pool.
Cost: MCC Students $30.00 (Two (3) Hour Sessions)
